Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has finally launched the HYUNDAI CRETA ELECTRIC in Indian Market.
Hyundai Creta Electric comes at an introductory price of 17.99 Lakhs (ex showroom) and goes upto 23.50 lakhs(ex showroom).
It is equipped with liquid cooled lithium ion battery pack and comes with two options, first with 42 kWh and second one with 51.4 kWh.
The claimed range of 42 kWh battery pack is 390 KM and that of 51.4 kWh battery pack is 473 KM on a single full charge.
It’s maximum power is 126 kilowatt and it reaches the speed of 0 to100 in just 7.9 seconds which is very fast.
With DC first charger it gets charged from 10 to 80% in just 58 minutes.

If you talk about design the, electric creta also looks similar to its ICE counterpart. You will see some minor changes in it only if you look carefully. The front grill has Active air flaps. It opens automatically when the vehicle is running and closes automatically when the vehicle stops. It comes with 17 inch alloy wheels, which is Arrow alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tyres.
Electric creta is equipped with level 2 ADAS with Adaptive cruise control.
It has dual curvilinear 10.25 inch screens one of which is touch screen for infotainment and the other is for Digital instrument cluster. It’s steering is slightly different from the regular creta. The new steering wheel is inspired by the Ioniq 5 with 4 dots representing ‘H’ in Morse code. It’s gearbox is provided in a liver near the steering, not in the centre console. It has Driver Only AC mode which activates vents exclusively for the driver showing an energy efficient edge.
The Creta EV features a smart panoramic voice enabled sunroof. It is also equipped with a Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers. It also offers a 360-degree camera and 6 airbags as standard . It comes with a Boss mode which allows the rear passenger to also adjust the front co-passenger seat.
Along with the cooled glove box , its driver arm rest is also cooled. Both the driver and co driver seats are electrically adjustable and are also ventilated.
